Robin joins Parsons House Frisco with over 36 years of experience in healthcare and senior living, including assisted living and memory care. It was at the age of nine, while assisting the nurses in caring for her Great-grandmother, that Robin knew what she wanted to do when she grew up. Robin started her career at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, Texas at the age of 16. Prior to her joining and opening a new Assisted Living Community in 1996, she worked for a Skilled Nursing Facility for 14 years.
Robin has a love and passion for seniors. Her residents' smiles and hugs warm her heart. She said it’s an honor and joy to be a part of her residents' and staff's lives each day. They are an extension to her family.
When not spending time with her extended family, Robin enjoys spending time with her husband (Sam), daughter (Brandy), grand-son (Landon), and her 2 fur babies (Apollo and Phee Phee) which you may see from time to time.
Robin is very excited about joining Parsons House Frisco. She said caring for seniors is a true calling and it is an honor to work for, The Parsons, such an amazing family who care so much for each and every resident and employee. Robin said she is at "home".
Director of Sales and Marketing
Robin joined Parsons House Frisco as the Director of Sales and Marketing with a passion for helping others. Robin comes from a large family and is currently helping care for a parent with Alzheimer’s disease. The most rewarding part of her job is connecting with families and recognizing how important it is to have a resourceful and caring environment for the family and their loved one. Robin has a heart of service and looks forward to making a difference each day that she gets to work with seniors. In her spare time, Robin and her husband enjoy socializing with friends and family.
Resident Services Director
Karen was born in Detroit, Michigan. When she was six months old, her parents picked up the family and moved back to England. Karen spent her years growing up in Bedford and attended college in Luton, England. She has held many different rolls in her working career, including owning a Pub and working in Greece as a resort representative. After moving back to the United States, Karen worked for Bank of America for ten years. Although she has only been in senior care for four years, Karen feels that all of her working career has been developing the numerous skills needed to be in this caring industry. She says, “Work is not work anymore, it is the great pleasure I have in walking through the door of an Assisted Living community and working with seniors.” When Karen is not spending time with family, which includes young nieces and nephews, she enjoys knitting, reading, and socializing with friends.
