Jamie’s favorite pastime and hobby is reading. You can always find her with a good book during her days off. She also loves to travel back home to Tennessee and spend time with her family.

Ronny Carney Jr - Director of Dining/Executive Chef

Ronny was born and raised in Texas and understands southern cuisine. He graduated in 2011 from Robert E Lee HS in Tyler, TX where he lived with his grandmother for 7+ years. If you asked Ronny who his two favorite people are, it would be his grandma and his wife. “I think that’s where my love for senior living came from - because I love my grandma. When I lived with her, I would spend time with her and help in any way I could. I believe it is an honor to take care of someone else’s loved one as well.” Ronny’s culinary career started when he got a hospital job at 16 years old as a cook. He would watch the other chefs and daydream about having his own kitchen and developing a team with his own recipes. Ronny worked 60+ hours per week for years to get where he is today. He worked his way from cook, to lead cook, to sous chef and finally to director of dining/executive chef at Parson House Frisco. “I work hard because this is my dream and the biggest passion in my life. I love the effect food has on people and I love being a major influence and part of my resident’s day.”

When Ronny isn’t slaving away behind a hot stove, you can find him spending time with his wife, Ally Carney, and his two dogs Cosmo & Wanda. I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, but most importantly watching football. Let’s go Cowboys!
